A Story on Humility and Open-Mindedness

Once upon a time, in a discussion, the donkey told the tiger, "The grass is blue."

The tiger replied, "No, the grass is green ."

The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to someone higher, so they approached the lion.

As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?"

The lion replied: "If you believe it, is true, the grass is blue."

The donkey jumped with joy and went on jumping around, content and repeating ′′The grass is blue, the grass is blue..."

The tiger asked the lion, "Your Majesty, why do you agree with her, after all, the grass is green?"

The lion replied, ′′You've known and seen the grass is green."

The tiger asked, ′′So why do you agree that the grass is blue..?"

The lion replied, "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green.

The lion continued, "The color of the grass is subjective. What matters is that both of you are entitled to your own perspectives."

The donkey and the tiger looked at each other, realizing the wisdom in the lion's words. They nodded in understanding and left the throne room, pondering over the lesson they had learned.

As they walked away, they encountered a group of animals arguing about the color of the sky. Some said it was blue, while others insisted it was gray.

The donkey and the tiger approached the group, and the donkey shared the lesson they had learned from the lion. He explained that everyone's perception is valid, and it's essential to respect each other's opinions.

The animals listened intently, and soon the argument turned into a respectful discussion. They realized that diversity of thought enriches their understanding of the world.
